DUATS Access – To provide you with the most up to date NOTAM and TFR data, we request your DUATS account number, password and N-number. The DUATS system maintains a history of user briefing requests and aircraft N-numbers in the event that a question arises as to the last time you requested a briefing. By providing us your DUATs login data, PilotGEEK’s computers can provide you with a personalized DUATS briefing via cell phone.
Technical Information - You want the system to provide you data specific to your location. To do this we keep cookies on your computer and cell phone. Our cookies are tiny "byte-sized" computer morsels that get sent to your computer and cell phone from our computer so that we can identify your personal operational information. That way, you are brought immediately to your initial location when the briefer is first displayed. If you disable cookies in your web browser, then your personal configuration will not be stored and you will be brought to the PilotGEEK default locations. In addition to cookies, PilotGEEK may collect technical information. This information does not allow us to identify you personally but pertains to your use of the Internet and our service. For example, we may collect the type of Internet Browser you are using or type of e-mail messaging capabilities that you have.
