Almanac and web phone AOPA portal data now included in PilotGEEK's $14.99 package
MANSFIELD, MA, JANUARY 31, 2008 ... PilotGEEK, LLC, an innovative business that develops software-based products for private pilots, announces two new enhancements to its Cell Briefer, a system that allows pilots to access weather data, flight restriction and other pertinent information through use of a cellular phone.
The PilotGEEK Cell Briefer now includes Almanac Data, providing Latitude, Longitude, Magnetic Deviation, Civil Sunrise, Sunrise, Sunset and Civil Sunset information for both origination and destination airports.
The AOPA Portal enhancement allows subscribers with AOPA memberships and AOPA web accounts the ability to access AOPA's Airport Directory and Resources and FBO/Facility/Fuel Information for both origination and destinations airports. This feature provides a wealth of valuable data, including fuel prices, restaurant availability, transportation information and locations of repair facilities.
