PilotGEEK Cell Briefer subscribers can now point their cell phone web browser to www.pilotgeek.com, enter the name of the airport for its ASOS/AWOS telephone number, select the option “ASOS/AWOS phone” and then simply submit. The PilotGEEK service will not only locate and send up to 10 of the closest ASOS/AWOS phone numbers but will also provide the distance from the requested airport.
Those subscribers without cell web service can send a text message to asos@pilotgeek.com with an airport identifier as the first line to receive a text message of ASOS/AWOS phone numbers for up to 10 of the closest airports.
